El ex torpedero de los Medias Rojas de Boston Julio Lugo falleció el lunes víctima de un infarto cardíaco informaron familiares del jugador a Diario Libre.

Lugo se encontraba haciendo ejercicios en un gimnasio de la capital dominicana en la mañana y sufrió el paro cardíaco mientras se dirigía a su casa con su chofer.

“El se sentía bien y de repente sintió un mareo y le dio un infarto”, dijo Rafael Santana, compadre del Lugo a Diario Libre.

Lugo tenía 45 años de edad y jugó en las mayores hasta el 2011.
